List Smarter, Not Harder: How I'm Using AI to Help Card Sellers Like You

If you’ve ever tried listing sports cards for sale online, you know it can be a total grind.

  • Is this a Mosaic Silver or a Reactive Blue?

  • What year is this again?

  • Wait…what was the last comp on this card?

  • Ugh, where’s that eBay spreadsheet?

I get it — I’ve been there. That’s why I’m building something new: an AI-powered tool to help casual sellers (like us) list cards faster, with fewer mistakes, and way less stress.

What It Does

This tool (powered by ChatGPT) can:

  • Analyze a scanned image of your card

  • Match it against a checklist

  • Identify the set, parallel, serial number, and card type

  • Format a clean eBay listing title and description

  • Even prep it for bulk upload via spreadsheet

You drop in a card photo and a checklist — and boom, it gives you the info you’d normally spend 5–10 minutes researching. Over time, that adds up fast.

Why I Built It

This wasn’t just a random idea — I built it because I needed it myself.

I sell cards on eBay and Instagram, and I found myself constantly bogged down with repetitive tasks. AI tools were out there, but they weren’t made for collectors. They didn’t “get” the hobby. So I decided to create one that does.

Who It’s For

This tool is made for:

  • Casual eBay sellers with a stack of cards to list

  • Instagram sellers who want clean listings and fast turnaround

  • Collectors trying to track, sort, or prep their inventory for sale

Even if you’re not a tech person or you’ve never used AI, this tool will walk you through it step-by-step.

What’s Next

Right now, I’m waiting on OpenAI to approve the tool for public use. Once it’s live, I’ll post the link and a full how-to guide on this site.

If you want to be one of the first to test it out, just contact me here and let me know you’re interested in the AI tool.

Final Thought

I love this hobby. And I love finding ways to make it more fun and less frustrating. If this tool helps you save time and list more — awesome. That’s the goal.

Stay tuned — we’re just getting started.
